I've FINALLY started to blog! Yea!!!!
Before today, and actually as I'm writing, the idea of blogging TERRIFIES me. I don't know where to start, where it's going, or where I want to end it. I've often wished I had a venue to make public some of my more brilliant ideas (!) known to more than my family and friends; it has been clear for quite some time that I need to start a blog, so my writing gets noticed and I get to write. Unfortunately, having a frontal lobe injury makes the act of initiating absolutely ANYTHING, and possibly EVERYTHING, extremely difficult. I need a purpose for my writing, some guidelines.
That's where you come in: I would like you to give me ideas. If you have an idea for a plot-line, character, personality dynamic, or anything else you'd like to see explored by the mind of an English-degreed woman who happens to live with a brain injury, leave it as a comment, please!
I will also write nonfiction and other opinion-type pieces, if you want: research is one of my many talents, and I'll bring my singular perspective to the topics of your choosing.
Give me a few days to think about your post and my approach, as well as any research the subject entails, and I should publish it on here in about a week...unless, you don't want it posted publicly. In that case, email it to me for work and I will email it back to you, exclusively.
Note: I maintain the right to publish all work to other publications, regardless of whose idea it was. Sorry about that.
